Dear Clients, Friends & Family,
For several months, we have all been navigating the uncertainties of this crisis. Our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted by COVID-19. At Trillium Support Services, we remain strong in our commitment to support our community and continue the valuable work we do. Our entire team at Trillium continues to work around the clock to ensure we provide our clients, families, and community partners with the best care possible.
We are proud of the care we provide to our communities and recognize our role in protecting you, your clients, and our workers. As an organization, we are continuously reviewing and updating our pandemic response, addressing existing and emerging health and safety concerns, as well as evaluating and strengthening our service and administrative practices. We are preparing for the anticipated second wave and will continue to update you regarding the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on the support we provide.
What you can continue to expect from us
Prior to each visit:
• All staff are screened daily for symptoms and risk factors of the most current signs and symptoms of the virus.
• Every client will be contacted before each visit to screen for symptoms and risk factors.
• If concerns are raised through the screening process, our service coordinators will be contacted immediately. Service coordinators will work with you and our team to determine next steps in your care.
Additional Information:
• Upon arrival to your home, our staff will thoroughly wash their hands and ensure they wash their hands throughout the visit.
• Our workers receive comprehensive education and training on the topics most critical during the COVID-19 pandemic. Such education includes, Universal precautions, safe use of PPE’s, overall education on COVID-19.

We know the pandemic around the world continues to impact us in so many ways and we are all navigating these uncertainties together. At Trillium Support Services, we remain hopeful and steadfast as we start the journey together of reopening our communities, places of work, worship, and recreation. We will remain strong in our commitment to support our community and the valuable work we do.
Throughout this pandemic, our team at Trillium continues to work around the clock to ensure we provide our clients, families, and community partners with the best care possible. If you have made the difficult decision to pause services, one of our team members will reach out to you in the coming weeks about the possibility of re-engaging and what that may look like for you.
We are passionate about the care we provide in our communities and recognize the need to protect you, your clients, and our workers. This means we continue to screen our staff and the individuals we support daily. Our screening is evolving, we continually monitor and revise our criteria as more information is becoming available on COVID-19. We work closely with our teams to ensure that anyone who is not feeling well understands we will support them staying home.
